This page features a range of Chinese-made microscope slides and coverglass.
Except for the thick slides (1.4mm) we have elected to supply only the superior ranges, which are white glass (borosilicate glass) for both, slides and slips. They are particularly clean and well packaged.
The microscope slide standard dimensions are within 0.1mm of the nominal 26 x 76mm. Thickness is very uniform accross the slide and tolerance is <0.05mm.
Unless noted otherwise slides are 1.0mm thick.

Sodium oxide Na2O - 14.50%
Potassium oxide K2O - 0.30%
Calcium oxide CaO - 7.05%
Magnesium oxide MgO - 3.95%

Ferric oxide Fe2O3 - 0.06%
Density : 2.50 x 103 kg/m³

GCS2VT slides are nominally 1.8mm thick, however a batch may also be 1.7 or 1.9mm, but have close tolerances within a batch.
Thickness:
GCS2 = 1.0 - 1.2mm

Our Chinese-made coverslips are very clean and well cut from borosilicate (white) glass; they are all No. 1 (standard) thickness of 0.13 - 0.17 mm.
Packing is in a single size plastic box for any size slips with a foam packing insert to accommodate various sizes. Five boxes are vacuum-packed in an aluminium envelope - we open that for single boxes.
Not all sizes are currently in stock, due to a temporary unavailability of borosilicate glass in China.
